How it works
Cloud DRM integrates with your packager and encrypts your content. When the end-user wants to play the video, the player app sends us a license request. We check with your system, and, if the user is authorized to watch the content, issue a decryption key back to the player.

License acquisition
- Upfront license token - the customer’s player checks the authentication with your system first. Once approved, we send them a license token.
- Customer proxy - your proxy server handles the communication between Cloud DRM and the customer’s player.
